Widest rear tire on CLS63? Plus couple pics of my black/black..
Currently running 285/30/19 on the OEM wheel. Not enough grip at all after tune . Cold asphalt doesn't help. Who's running the widest rear setup here? Before I start experimenting with 305 tires etc.
Also figured I'd throw up a couple pics of my CLS63. Have had it since the summer, had it tuned (EC V5) first week of ownership, resonator cut, rear diffuser, tint, H&R front springs and rear links. Have a lip and spoiler sitting in the garage (that I'm not a fan of fitment of) as well as adv1's. Looking for downpipes that will sound good before retune.

I'm running V12 hankook in a 305/25/20 with tune If you are going to upgrade for traction dont expect a miracle it will help some but I still break loose below 55mph and if its below 50 F forget about it

Thnx fellas. Guess I'll report back after trying a 315 tire in the spring. Jeez this forum is dead! Seems like entire mbworld is down big-time compared to 5 years ago.

Quite true the forum used to be much busier.......and with more drivers enthusiastic about their cars......the W212 board is still pretty busy

That's awesome. But how did you fit the 275s on the front? My 265/30/20 rubbed alot on turning early on, now that its worn out the inner plastic under the fender it no longer makes any noises! what specs on the wheels? does it have anything to do with suspension height?
I'm thinking of moving to 325/25/20 on the rear next time instead of the 305s.

What's the rim width for the 325 and the 275. I'm thinking 305s for the rear but didn't think 275 would work upfront. Have you ever ran 305s, what's the minimum width for that?

I want to run a 325/25/20 but I don't think it will fit without rubbing... Not sure if a 315/25 will make a huge difference from the 305/25 i'm already running...
