Plasti dip : A cheaper alternative to wraping or painting your car
Just wanted to inform you guys that I found a cheaper and just as effective way to "wrap" your car or your wheels without painting or wrapping your car and shelling out at least $1500. Go to www.dipyourcar.com Even though it's a spray, it is plastic and can also peel off when dry, much like wraps and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's also a great way to wrap and protect your car's original paint in case you wanted to sell the car. I was thinking of spraying my amg wheels black or bronze. Please let me know what you think.
To your wheels yeah maybe, go for it. but I have yet to see any plastidipped car come out presentable. Maybe I'm wrong and plastidip has gotten a lot better? but as far as I know thats definitely not something you would want to do to an AMG. I have plastidipped parts on my civic years ago and the removal is nowhere near seamless at all

It came out pretty decent I think. It is a great alternative to give your car that special sports aggressive look without breaking the bank. It also looks great for taking pictures with. However, it is not showroom condition. We are not professionals and we cannot do a flawless paint job. So if youre into your car looking like a showroom condition car, I would recommend getting a professional paint job or nice aftermarket rims that come in the color you already want. However, if you like your stock rims (like me) and just want to change the color for a different look, then I would highly recommend plasti dip. Also I must mention that it protects your rims from scratches. Two days after dipping my rims, I curbed my wheels and the plasti dip peeled off a little but the rim was really hurt. Here is a picture of my rims. WHen I get better pictures, I would post them on here.
