Help needed with 19inch wheels and tyre size....

Hi guys i got a set of 19s per packg e63 forged wheels, i fitted them with 20mm spacer on the rears to make them sit flush, tyres are 255/40/19 front, rears 285/35/19, they look nice fill the gaps, but am getting alot of wheel spin on the rears when setting off, compared to my 20inch vossens i wasnt getting any at all.

Could it be the tyre brand or fact ive got 20mm spacer or the tyre size or just 19s do more wheel spin?

Any help would be appreciated!

what brand of tires? if they are comparable to the 20s you had...youre probably getting wheel spin because the AMG wheels weigh a good bit less than the Vossens you had on. less inertia = more power to the ground. i've seen folks upgrade to lighter brake rotors and increase their dyno numbers. one thing its not is the spacers. so there's that...

love that damn color, btw!!! is that a wrap?

The tyres are pirelli p zero rosso, on the 20s i had falken avensis fk510 and found them very good handling and no wheels spin at all,

it could well be the fact the vossens are heavier,

so if its not the wheel spacer on the back, then its got to be the lighter wheels or maybe the tyre profile is a little more then recomended 255/35/19F & 285/30/19R and currently i have 255/40/19F & 285/35/19R is smoother to drive just a little annoying when i put foot down,

the colour is Designo mystic blue original from factory😎

I i know stock is 35/38 but my tires a little more then stock wich is why am struggling, saying thats with 32/35 it seems to drive much smoother, i will try 38/40 today and see how that works,

i just dont wanna play too much with handling as i do often find myself in the 120-150 mph lol i know its naughty but then you dont have amg and be on best behavour!

hi bro nice car ! I was thinking to change my stock tyre to size like yours to improve the driving comfort but i was worried abt the tyre will be too high compare to the stock size. Do u experience any rubbing with these sizes?
