Question Brake Rotor suggestions
Hello all,
Do you guys have any suggestions for non pricey front rotors for 2012 cls63 (preferrably slotted)? Mine needs to be changed.

Edit: Do you guys know if the CLS550 brake rotors are the same for the cls63amg?

The OE front rotor is $1000 each rotor and definitely don't wanna spend $2000 in just rotors then add labor. If I was going to spend that on rotors, I might aswell spend an additional $1000 for big brake brembo kits. So i'd say something less than $600 per rotor is reasonable. Funny how our back rotors are only about $100 to $200 each but one front rotor is $1000

RB Racing makes a great brake kit for MB E-63 & CLS-63 which includes front and rear rotor sets and includes ceramic pads, etc. @ $2,295

As far as I know the CLS 55 and CLS 63 use the same rotor sizes...

Yeah, all "55K's & 63's", (1-piece/1.5-piece/2-piece), can be interchangeable to each other..

I did resurface them but the mechanic had also told me that it will start vibrating again and will get warped..And thats exactly what happened. I ended up purchasing Zimmerman rotors from FCPEUro and it works great now

As i know; perforated Rotors can't be resurfaced..!!,

Zimmermann is soo great, it's really Exceeded the OEM's..

Two ways people on this forum learn, the expensive way or the even more expensive hard way. You’re gonna learn the hard way, nothing with these cars is cheap.
