Alignment after installing H&R springs

I am heading to the dealer tomorrow for the alignment. The rear is 1/8 inch lower than the front but the gap between the tire and the fender looks equal. Do I need to tell them to adjust the ride height first before the alignment? Do you know if height adjustment is included with the alignment?

Just got the alignment at dealer. Negative cambers are almost the same before and after alignment

Front left: before: -2.07 after: -2.07
Front right before: -1.53 after: -1.51

Rear left: before: -2.36 after: -2.38
Rear right before: -2.25 after: -2.27

It seems like they didn't do much. I don't know how to read these specs but it seems like the more than -2 camber is a bit too much. Inner tires will be worn like crazy. T

They can't really do much unless you get adjustable control arms. If you lower the car, prepare to have more tire wear. I've put 5,000 miles on my car since lowering it and I'm not seeing anything terrible.

Yes, I understand that the lower the more tire wear. Those negative cambers look a bit out of range to me. I planning to come back and ask them to install camber bolts/adjustable arms to improve cambers. They did not ask me to install those so I thought my car was okay. When I lowered my E63 by 2 inches, they did install those and the negative camber was around -1.5. Thank you for your inputs.

Your camber numbers look the same b/c they don't actually adjust it. All the do is adjust your TOE.

Is there a reason for that? Thanks.

I believe the stock suspension simply does NOT have the means to do so. And... where is the K-Mac guy at.. They'd have usually posted about their camber kits by now

YES . . . . . . WE ARE SLOW IN REPLYING

CURRENTLY ALL OUT EFFORT KEEPING UP WITH ORDERS. . . . . . . as obvious more owners becoming aware the often quoted reassuring "FULL FRONT AND REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT" - IS NO MORE THAN TOE (DIRECTIONAL) ADJUSTMENT!

That today's models there is NO FRONT CAMBER, CASTER OR REAR CAMBER TO ADJUST TIRE CONTACT ANGLES / SPREAD LOAD MORE EVENLY.

SPECIFICALLY FOR THE W218 CLS63, AMG WE MANUFACTURE:

Front Camber and Caster adjuster kit, #503116 K $480
Replaces the 4 front / highest wearing bushings at the same time providing precise, single wrench adjustment. Up to extra 1.5 degrees Pos. or Neg. Camber (more than enough to resolve most costly, premature edge tire wear issues).

The Caster bushings (replace the forward facing thrust arm bushes) providing again single wrench adjustment to compensate for the new Camber settings. These 2 bushes are Mono ball / 2 Axis which also significantly improves brake and steering response.

For serious front adjustment (Performance / Track days) when wanting to further reduce understeer we also manufacture
"REPLACEMENT TOP STRUT MOUNTS " (no mods required).
Providing up to "extra" 3 degrees Camber change, along with extra Caster adjustment.

This KMAC Patented design breakthrough provides fast adjustment from engine bay (without need for strut removal each time).

STAGE 2 KIT (STREET / RACE) #502916-2L $545 Pair
Highest aircraft 7075 alloy. Separate (3 3/8" diameter) thrust bearings for steering loads. Designed to fit with factory diameter springs or all brands Coil overs 60-70mm ID

STAGE 3 KIT (FULL RACE) #502916-3L $545 Pair
Same features as above but solid / no flex. Also includes massive 1 1/2" ID self align spherical bearings

FOR THE REAR SUSPENSION:
2 Kits manufactured (BOTH INCLUDE ESSENTIAL EXTRA TOE ADJUSTMENT) - to cater for the new rear Camber facility.

#502226 K $480
This kit replacing the lower arm inner bushes for Camber (up to 1.5 degrees extra Pos or Neg). Includes bush extraction tool, Precise single wrench adjustment - accurately under load, direct on alignment rack.

While #502226-1M $595
Replaces the upper control arms. Turnbuckle adjustable for Camber. Unlike other brands not soft extruded aluminum BUT HIGH STRENGTH FORGED ALLOY SAME AS OEM. End bushes either rubber or high performance (non squeak) elastomer.

NOTE: When adjusting to reduce "inner edge tire wear" above kits:
#502226K retains clearance top of tire to outer fender
#502226-1M Reduces clearance top of tire to outer fender

FINALLY ALSO FOR THE REAR - AFTER MANY REQUESTS KIT #502628K
REPLACES THE 6 REAR MULTI LINK ARMS - SOFT RUBBER BUSHINGS. Significantly reducing rear end flex, loss of traction. Especially when applying power to lane change, overtake.

Delivery Worldwide $40 one kit, $20 each additional

Best Regards
