When I bought my CLS55 I looked around for a different wheel, but came back to Carlsson.

I would highly recommend Randall at Autowerks Direct. I call him "My go to Guy" for all my car needs. I have found that his prices are better or as good as other companies. Randall knowledge is superior to anyone else's I have talk to about my MB's. I would hight recommend him.
OK don't hate on the 20" Brabus Multipiece Monoblock VI's I have on my SL55! LOL...

Got in touch w/ Randall via EMAIL today... great responses and I'll be going w/ him and the 19" Carlsson's for my E55 early next week... and if everything goes well, the Carlsson lowering module for my SL55 as well as some bells and whistles. Thanks!

Good to hear. I'm sure you will be happy with your purchase. You can see the wheels on my wife's silver E55 by accessing Autowerks Direct's website, going to Gallery and then to E-Class.

When you see Randall have him tell you about the SL65 project car he is working on. Carlsson everthing, plus a lot more. Like a $20,000 audio/video system.

Enjoy

Awesome. Pictures when I get back home (I'm up in Lake Tahoe). Though on the drive down to SD from OC I hit a piece of tire which that dented the front air dam grill. My E55 is cursed... had it less than 2 weeks and have already been run off the road once and now this!

If it is the mesh grill you can remove it from the car and bend it back into the correct shape. This happens to me all the time. The grill is held in by small clips. I think there were six of them. You will need a flashlight and a flat screwdriver. Look closely at the clips, the newer ones have a barb that must be pushed down before the grill can be removed. They are very easy to break.

I was quite surprised at how well the mesh could be molded back into a flat shape. Not a problem unless it is ripped. I have had a friend the worked it to quickly and he cracked the mesh so go slowly and work it back into shape.

An new one was $140 I think.

No but thinking about it (as well as some mother goodies). I'm probably going to have Randall at MBWerks address my SL55 first... lowering module, chiptune, hard wire radar detector, and stealth sirus antenna...
