IMO, this is just MB's effort on promoting the CLS55 because they know they are going to switch to the 63 very soon. They better make "something" to make the CLS55 memorable.
Plus, who is going to pay close to $100,000 for a CLS55 special edition? (that's why they will produce very few of CLS55 IWC Editions)
