Hi guys, I am a M3 owner but my family have ordered a CLS55 AMG and tomorrow is the last day to make changes.

I did alot of research, currently it is obsidian black on black interior. It was originally indium grey.

What do you guys think is a good choice? I know there are ALOT of non metallic black CLS55. It looks awesome. I do not like silver beige and stuff.

Below are my top choices:
Non Metallic Black
Obsidian Black
Indium Grey
Tanzanite blue(never seen any...)

Also, any extra options that are a must? Great thanks to you all. Looking forward in posting here!

IMHO, you're into black cars or you're not. If you like 'em black, than the Obsidian Black is a no brainer. It's gorgeous. Personally, since there are so many black cars out there these days, I prefer something a little different - the Indium Grey is nice. I just picked up my Pewter CLS55 and like it a lot.

The color pallette for the non-AMG CLS's is much better than the AMG CLS's. Too bad, really, because there are some nice colors in the lineup.

While I love my new car and MB, in general, I think BMW does nicer colors.

Whatever you choose, good luck with it. Have a blast.

You cant go wrong with black. If you are able to keep your cars clean and all then black is the way to go.

How does regular black compare to obsidian black?

One might try Black Opal, a very deep metallic blue, almost black. I am taking delivery of a CLS 55 on Saturday in that color with charcoal upholstery and high gloss laurel wood

I went from Brilliant Silver in my E55 to Obsidian Black in my CLS55. The Obsidian is "the" color for this car (imo). Everyone at the MB dealership was in shock as to how hot the car looks. I've received more attention in one day than I did in a year in the E55. I've come to think that the silver is boring in comparison. The lines along with the chrome accents just seem to look right on black. I'll post pics soon.
