im must wondering if any of you know how the adaptive headlights work. i tried looking at them while someone turned the wheels but i the lights arent moving at all. (ive seen them move side to side on the bimmers).

Also, the cornering light function is active above 40 km/h.

I checked your links. I think they were talking about the headlamps themselves.
The reason the lights don't turn when you are stationary is so that you don't blind other drivers during a red light or what not.
