Yeah, that's the dealer badge and the first instruction I gave them was to take it off! I also gave them instructions many months ago not to put the front plate holder on but this was not heeded. Luckily for them the car is black ...
It will be another couple of days before the car gets registered and is ready to drive, so in the meantime I have to find ways to get my mind off the car. But its gonna be difficult, a pair of Green filters are already on standby by my bedside! :p

Thanks guys!
The part number is #2247, supposed to be same as the E55 ones. I hope they sent the right ones though cos on the label it says S500 and C320?? Fingers crossed ... will keep you guys updated.
Also, I ordered the performance upgrades individually cos at the time I asked, my dealer said there was no such thing as a 030 performance package. Anyway, it doesn't really matter just cos the main thing I wanted was the LSD. Kind of regret getting the brake upgrade though now that the Evosport kit has become available, but at least its warrantied by the dealer. Anyway, can't wait to drive the car. Will try to give some feedback when that time arrives!

Some pics of the car with the Carlsson front lip installed. Car is a fantastic drive and the AMG uprated brakes are amazing. Green filters seemed to have improved the car's response although to be honest I didn't drive the car for long on the stock ones, haha! The car is so complete I could just drive around in it the whole day. Only problem IMO is that the exhaust note is too tame especially on idle. Thinking of removing the secondary cats as my local tuner suggests, but not sure if that would make a difference to the sound. Any comments on that?

Congrats Jspeed on your sweet ride... are you going to ship the car to London? Btw you have to tell us what you think of the AMG LSD since I think you're the only one on the board who has it.

Yes, very happy with the car indeed. It will not be shipped here unfortunately. I use the word 'unfortunate' as I'm back in London now driving the Evo Not that the Evo is a bad car though ...
As for the LSD, didn't get to try out the car enough to get a detailed impression. Most of the driving was done keeping in mind the AMG technician's advice to run-in the LSD. Another thing is that I have never had this car without the LSD which makes it hard to make a comparison. But from the few times which I couldn't resist holding the poor car back from doing what it was made to do, I noticed that the car continues pulling very strongly even when the wheels start to break traction. Flooring it on slightly uneven surfaces or coming out of 2nd gear corners, the car continues accelerating just as hard without any hesitation as I would expect it to when the traction light starts to flash. Not sure if these characteristics are attributed by the LSD but those are my thoughts so far.

Congratulations. Excellent. Can't believe the dealer drilled the front for the plate holder. I would have went ape**** and to put a dealer badge on to boot. Enjoy your ride.

The damn dealer drilled holes in my car without me knowing! they said "it's the law" ...but I threatened them enough so they filled it back up so you can't see any trace of it. Those *******s.
