2007 E63 AMG
2007 Cls55 Amg
Just can't wait to get rid of my E500 and get a CLS55 Next year. Does anyone heard of Vellano wheels, I think they look good on the CLS55.
My friend sent me a video clip, M6 vs 911 twin turbo. Can't believe the M6 looks extremely fast. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...37883&q=m6+911
Would love to see a racing video M6 vs CLS55.

Doesnt much matter how fast the M cars are since they never make it to the US market until they are old news. M5 would have been nice two years ago when it was on the cover of all the mags and it's still not here.

a few...
from what I hear and have seen they are here. Albeit they aren't exactly abundant but noone expects that. Go to the E55 Forum and DerekFSU has some good writeups about one since he has one. I think they are a great car for what they are. Haven't driven one but heard all about them....

CLS 63AMG....M5 and M6
I have put a deposit on a CLS63 AMG for 18 months now (the Dealer did not understand at the time). Before the 6.3 engine was announced. Since then...When I disucssed the ML63 AMG coming out with the dealer, he told me that the CLS 63AMG was confirmed...and that my car should get here mid to end of summer 2006.
Having said that...I also have an M6 on order....
By the way, I just drove the first M5 from one of the BMW dealer here in DFW Texas this week end....
My friends, take it from me (ex owner of 2004 E55)...the accleration is really impressive...you could have told me that the engine was supercharged and I would have believed it.....Everything you read about less torque than AMG etc.....does not matter.....go drive it ......very impressive. Steering is super precise, brakes are huge.....
Having said that ..my mind is still not made up yet between the CLS 63AMG and the M6....But let's be honest the M6 will be even more impressive than M5...

Amg-1...
have you heard whether there'll be a CLS550? and if so, then when that might first see our shores?
i considered and drove a CLS500 today, posting my impressions in the CLS500 forum. despite what i think is a good deal offered to me, i can't believe i'd be satisfied with the 500 engine. the 550 almost surely would do the job for me.
looking forward to your reply.

The 996TT gets its clock cleaned by the E55/CLS55. I had a 2004 996TT and a 2004 E55 and my wife and I made a run from ~25 to 90. She kicked my butt in the E55 and I nailed my shifts in the Porsche. It was pretty funnny. The 997TT will probably be a different story.
