Russian outlet of MKB introduced world 1st and only 620 HP CLS500 made into 5.5 Kompressor with 4wd 4 matic system...

They had to put 5 speed gearbox, instead of reg CLS500 7 speed cause 7speed couldnt hold all that power...

The whole transformations costed 110000 EURO, around 130k US...

This CLS55 MKB 4 matic been tested and does 0-100km (0-62miles) in 3.8secs, 0-60 in 3.6...

They also made CL55K AMG into 4 matic last year...

I am more curious about the 4matic AWD. The problem with the CLS55 or E55 is not so much not having enough torque but being able to use it. Having an AWD would actually better utilize all the torque these cars have.

I think its crazy...Overall costs 250.000 US...

This is second car they done, dodnt know the whole techincal process, some info is in the atrticle, they used E500 4matic system and modified...Very faaast...but I dont like MKB wheels...

Yup, but the engine in the SLR is a little different, same 5.5L V8 S/C basic setup but other details are totally different

MKB makes 500 into 5.5 (changes all internal parts)...so its basically the same...
