I just put 19" Dunlop M3 snow tires on an ASA wheelset I bought at Tire Rack.
They work fairly well but not quite as nice as a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks I had on my M3.

I should note that it still isn't a great winter vehicle. It has a hard time on ice though it handles snow fairly well.

It doesn't matter what drive train you have if you are driving on ice.

I did nearly the same ... but went with Pirelli M+S, didn't go full-tilt on winter tires.

I'm pretty happy with the ST4's so far.

Cool. I actually like the looks of them more than the stock wheelset.

Seriously, leave the MB's at home in the Garage.

12 years ago I bought a 1987 Ford Bronco for $5,000.

It still starts on the first crank. I bought it to protect nice cars from bad weather.

Since then, I have put about 100,000 miles on it. I will never go without a truck again.

You don't put Christmas Trees on top of New MB's! Hey that rhymes.

The Bronco was hit while parked by a car skidding in the snow, no damage.
The Bronco was rear-ended by a skidding Civic in the snow, new bumper required, I paid $125 and slapped it on while drinking a beer.

Not only is it un-stoppable in the snow, its downright fun to drive in the snow!
