i have a 2006 CLS55 AMG and im not happy with the sounds. it comes with Harman Kardon spkrs from factory and i want to upgrade it but i dont know want brand 2 put in. please write back with some help information.

You may want to look at the focal componets. They sound great but run about 1000.00 a pair. They sound the best to me but JL audio also has a good line of componets I think they are the xr's you want. You may need to add more power to the speakers to get the sound you want.

You may be happy just adding a subwoofer as I did. The stock highs are adequate (I did not say great). The added punch of a sub allows you to turn the bass down (or off) avoiding the pathetic excuse for bass provided by the HK system.

i went today to a place called high tech electronics in hialeah florida they have done some of my cars be 4, they told me to get mb-quart mid/high sprks and a 12" mmats sub where that facrory one is and a directed 2200.5 amp and a LC6 from audiocontrol for $3500 they told that it will sound very good let me no what u guy think

I don't know how to transfer a response I made to the thread mentioned in the title. My response was #32 in the thread. In that response, I spelled out the system which I have installed in my car. It was not cheap, but the sound quality is outstanding, expecially when listening to Sirius Radio, which transmitts a digital signal, Happy trails!!
