What will be the cosmetic differences between the current 55 and the 63?

Oh well if the general consensus is that the new 63 engine is faster and better than my CLS55 with 030, I will be sure to buy it. I kinda wish they made the Pano roof an option on the CLS along with Solar Panels. I love the solar panels on my E55 and they have yet to fail like so many complained.

Hearsay has it that back when I was a stringer photographer for AP (or was it UPI back then?) and I'd go in on an actual assignment for the local big metropolitan daily, that I'd go by the paper's offices and visit their equipment room becasue they had cases with $2000 & $4,000 lenses in them -- and that was a long time ago.... I wouldn't take any of their camera bodies or other equipment because I already had my own $2,000 camera and $1,500 flash unit, and $600 tripod -- and that was still a long time ago. Professional photography, the kind that you do for your 'job' - especially if it involves high speed subjects or even worse high speed subjects at a distance - requires Big Dollar Equipment.
I am sure that it isn't that much better in the modern digital age.

The 63 will get:
New more efficient cooling system
7-G Tronic transmission
6.3 liter V8 DOHC 4 valve engine
Bumper (maybe for the states, though given MBUSA and its uptight *** I doubt it will see the day of light on the western side of the pond)
Revised suspension and Airmatic programming
More throaty and free flowing exhaust while 50 state legal

I think the bumper will come through just for a little facelift and for a more aggressive look. It will help to distinguish the 63 verses a 500/550 with the amg package better. I wouldn't be suprised if soon one can order the 19's from the CLS55 for the 500/550 making this even more a need. If the SLK55 can have that bumper so can the CLS63. If you have researched the available vehicles out there in Autotrader, there is beginning to be a supply of CLS55 on dealers lots. The local dealer just got a black well-equiped one allocated by MBUSA that they could not presell before arrival. That detuned CLK63 will definitely sell as we all have learned that MB likes to underate there engines depending on which platform they put it in.

Don't forget a tranny that is almost already at it's peak as to what it will handle hp/torque wise. Looks like modding is almost moot on these new pups.
Maybe we will be able to get away with headers, but adding a Kleemann blower/or turbo system will get you into the "tranny of the month club"
New 7GTronic on the way soon thank God....supposed to be bulletproof.
