However I am still not fond of 20" wheels. In fact I definitely prefer the ride comfort of my E55 on 18's compared to my CLS55 on 19's - going to 20's will only make the ride harsher imo. I just went to Orlando and back in the same day on business, and to run in my beast, and even on the smooth Turnpike, the diffrence in ride-suppleness is very apparent.
Now if I was throwing the beast around the twisty's that would be another story, and I am all in favor of low profile tires for performance cornering.
And then of course the there's the drag strip. On my CLS 030 I now have the LSD so that might count for something, but I have also lost the sidewall height going from 18" - 19" rims, so in that respect I have gone backwards, so I dont know what to expect. Might just have to get some 18's for the track.
