Usually used as a means of conveying agreement. It's the modern version of "right on." This expression was mainly used in the early '90s

Hey all, please allow me one minute to think out loud...
I thought this was an AMG CLS55 forum...don't misunderstand, I am an enthusiast of the automobile...I love cars and would love to shoot the sh*t with owners of all makes, esp. performance autos...I also own other marques (among Porsches and Ferraris and M5s and M6s, I also just picked up the Aston Martin Vanquish S as well as confirming the Ferrari 599 on order) and can bring the Aston or the F430 (I shudder to think that the M6 can even appear on the radar next to my F430 cometition) to the party, but what sense is that? If this were a general performance auto forum, then all marques would be represented. Right? Would you see M5s and M6s, F430s, and Porsches running around at an Mercedes sponsored AMG event? I don't know, I somehow misunderstood this to be at most an AMG event....
I think that in the excitement of putting together something like this, the enthusiasm can be overwhelming and the original intent is somehow lost in the translation. But I also think that something like this, propegated from this, the CLS55 AMG forum, should stand true to the marque and the pride in the owner's experience of having this automobile in his/her garage. I think that, ultimately, this is what it boils down to. It is not a compare and contrast meeting, rather, it is coming together of owners of the marque and the dissemination of the individual experiences amongst these owners - pride, gentlemen (and ladies), pure and simple pride.
I am happy to have been able to express the above and also will be removing myself from the list for the BBQ since I know that my thinking has cut against the grain of the general concensus. Have a good time all, and enjoy your CLS55...mine keeps getting better all the time. And in the interest of other CLS55 owners, I will be getting baseline dyno #s and will be posting them with #s of upgrades after they have been installed on the car. Lastly, this is my two cents: 4-door performance - CLS55 (CLS63/CLS65), 2-door sports - Porsche GT3/GT2, F430. ?M6, handles great for the weight, but still very very unattractive to look upon. I will gladly sell mine.
Adam, thanks for the work done thus far, and give my regards to all at Kronen.
Thanks for letting me share my thoughts...

You better show up! While I agree that this is really an AMG event ... I don't mind a couple BMW's showing up.

It is still an AMG event. The owner of the M6 might not come. He is the owner's close friend. So really, those who are driving the BMW are really Kronen's old friend. Anyways, there wont be any other marques for the BBQ.
