Carbon Fibre Interior
I asked Carlsson USA for a quote on a full carbon fibre interior trim. Basically I just wanted to replace all 1mm thick wood panels with some stunning carbon fibre.
I was quoted $7,250!
not installed. He was kind enough to send me some pictures. Anyways... what I want to know is, Has anyone done it? Id personally like to see it or get comments from someone who has. $7k is alot of money and it better look fantastic for that price.

What he sent you is a picture of the MP Design kit. Its a great quality kit. Although i do not think it is that expensive. I will check the price for you and let you know tomorrow.

I suggest looking into the AMG Performance Studio accessories catalog. They might offer a full CF trim kit. I know they offer one for the SLK, and it is not $7000 (however the SLK has less trim area to cover than the CLS).

DiamondKomp - I saw that kit in my catalog that arrived just today
They ask $600 for it. Its not like the CLS has 10x the interior trim of an SLK. So Carlsson was just trying to rip me off.

www.performanceproducts.com is the authorzied dealer of MP Designs products, contact them for more information on the kit. The kit costs 385,000 yen in Japan, which is about 3500 USD.

CF interior is THEEE thing to get in the CLS, believe if and when I get one that will be Mod#1. Can't stand the wood trims in that car.

You guys are going to laugh even more. We are also an MPDesign dealer and we sell this exact kit which replaces every single piece of factory wood in the car in carbon fiber. Our price is $1,649. We also sell the MPdesign steering wheel an shift knob. All the parts come in either black or silver carbon fiber. I guess it does pay to shop around.

Do you carry the Kit in Silver Carbon Fiber or just black? Also i was wondering how much the Renntech Steering wheel was going for? Can the renntech wheels be done with carbon fiber? and if u have pictures of the wheel? Thanks
