New CLS63 rocks!
Took delivery of our White/Cashmere CLS63 yesterday. The car is awesome. It is solid, fast, quiet (except for the incredible exhaust note) and luxurious.
I have an 06 E55 K1 and the powerband is so different. The new 63 is smooth and when it hits 5k rpm it just bolts. I have only driven it 50 miles so far, but I am way impressed. Got back in the 55 and it felt very rough and unpolished. It does not have the instant throttle response like the k55 but it is much better in my opinion.

yes, the steering wheel is thicker.
It came with black AMG mats, but I bought some cashmere ones as well. It is my wife's car and she likes the tan mats better.
I post more pics when I get the new wheels installed.

I'm glad to hear you like it. My brother has ordered one for January delivery at our local dealer and I have been trying to steer him away from the 63 and into a leftover or pre-owned 55 due to the comments some new 63 owners are making about the lack of torque, etc.
