Resale value of CLS55?

Hey All,

with the release of the CLS63, going for around 95-100k, what do you all think the resale price of a 55 might be? I've seen a couple of the 55s being listed at 95k with, anywhere from 10k-20k miles on them .

I know of a few CLS55 that recently sold. One had the 030 pkg w-6500 miles and sold for 83k while another with 030 and Kleeman add ons sold in the low 90's.

Supply vs. Demand: Expect the CLS55's to hold their value better than any merc on the market. They were out for a whole year before being replaced and, as far as this forum is concerned, are more desirable due to the hordes of Beelzebub taking up residence under the hood.

sl55
Very low mile, high option 55's are selling in the low 80's. 15000 mile, high option cars are mid to high 70's.

Yes, did you get yours from Tony? He had just sold it when I asked him about it.

I almost had to get rid of my CLS55 to get a 997TT, but I worked out a deal with my wife to get rid of her clk500 and replace it with a tip-997TT, the TT just arrived and I will be picking it up next week. I cannot imagine anything is worth trading the CLS55 for, not even the new 63s.

The tip-997TT is suppose to be awesome as well as quicker than the manual version(0-60 in 3.4 vs 3.7). I believe that is the first time that the tiptronic topped the manual in 0-60 clockings.
