Anyone have any pics of the Artic Blue color in CLS class? Have a 17K CLS 500 (06) and wondering if I am out of my mind upgrading to the CLS63 or simply the 07 CLS550. Would appreciate what u think I could expect to get from a dealer by selling my car(virtually mint condition and totally loaded apart from distronic) and I know the price for the 63 is about $110K (I don't want distronic) and what would the price for the 550 fully loaded be...........?

The 550 has the extra HP and the 63 is off the charts...........................the wife insists on trying to get me to drive..how shall we say............slower these days, so wondering if I really need all those extra horses and if so would she/I....................(well I don't care)..notice a firmer ride?

Appreciate your comments....just not sure what to do.............

I'll say shop for an used CLS 55. I am sure Vadim has couple lying around in his lot. Personally, i dislike the 63 and 500. Not enough power, but like you said in your posts, maybe you dont need that extra horsies.

I agree, go with a preowned 55. Once you drive it you'll know why. Don't take the hit on buying a new 63 when you are trading in a "new" 06 year car.

I did as you are considering, switch from a CLS500 to a CLS63. I could not be any happier with my decision. As my wife now says when she drives with me (as her arms are pushed against the dash) - "I have a lot of trust in you!"

Not enough power in the 63? This car stock is every bit as "powerful" as the 55. Yeah less torque, but to say the 63 lacks power that is a stretch. It is different but it is still powerful, the transfer to the wheel is superior in the 63 while raw power (available pounds per foot) is superior in the 55. I Love the CLS, both engines are powerful and unless your a drag racer you would not be able to measure the difference. The cars feel different but they are both VERY POWERFUL, I have never drivin the 500? I suppose that feels very different due to hp. My car only has 500 miles on it, you have to punch it hard to get it out of the 63 but it is available. I do agree with others that you will get a better deal on the 55, and that alone is worth selecting the 55 over the 63. The same battle happens with the e55 and e63, IMO they are both great but I think the CLS looks better. Hey wheres my lowering module?

Don't get me wrong, I love the 63. It's about the money factor when you know you cannot loose either way. Use the money you save to buy upgrades!

Dont get me wrong...I LOVE THE 55. and I agree the savings would be alot better and be the deciding factor. My 63 was an incredible bargain so I "had" to get it

Thx................thats what I thought............................have a LMB corvette and I love the color,,,,but this artic blue appears to be neither one thing or another.................has anyone here got this color and care to comment?
