Best deal on board! Tired of 3 piece 20's, want to trade for stock wheels
I have a set of DCR catulunya's, 20x9 and 20x11 with Continental 255-30's and 305-25's. Wheels have clear coat issue from factory, DCR knows of the problem and is just waiting for the wheels to be sent back and they will repair with no issue. No rims have ever been curbed but Front right wheel has cracked center, that wheel is the only issue. I need another set of wheels asap, I'm looking for a stock set of 19in. amg's. Will consider taking 18in. amg's, and other wheels, but nothing over 19in. You can contact me via my cell at (916)770-5446 or PM me.

I'm sick of multipiece wheels too. Forged wheels seem to be really fragile. My high end wheels have nicks, rash and a bend. My 1 piece cast wheels have been curbed with no apparent marks from it. They don't hold water in the barrel and are easier to maintain.

Are mutli piece wheels for look only? or are they supposed to be lighter? I had some TSW 18's on my 400E that I rolled and aside from some gravel rash that was fixed, the wheels stayed true so I had them powdercoated and used them again on my TE.

I've just come to the conclusion that multipiece rims may be the biggest marketing gimmick every by wheel companies. It's easier for the wheel companies to make the multipiece wheels rather than a single piece ultralight weight rim if I've done my research correctly.
I'd love for someone to shed more insight on this.

I can't say I have ever heard of anyone being "tired" of their 20 inch rims. It's one thing if you had black or chrome rims and were tired of the black on black look.
I don't think multipiece rims are hard to make per say....alot of the work is sealing the damn things correctly. That is why they cost an exorborant amount to fix. Most one piece rims are what.....$50 to fix? Wheel places wanted $400 PER RIM to fix a set of 3-piece LDR's and even then, they didn't seem to be fond of doing so...which is why I ended up just buying a brand new set. They said the hard part was successfully sealing the 3 pieces together, and that they couldn't even guarantee it could be done.

If a wheels is really a high quality forged wheel it will be stronger and lighter than a cast wheel.
The problem is that most these bling-azz "forged" wheels that say they are forged are not really forged... I had Iforged wheels, that claimed to be forged, and I later found out that only the center piece was forged, not the rim halves, which is what matters more.. WtF?!
