Finally Did It
After searching high and low for months, I ended up buying a CLS55 from the local dealer. The closest MBZ dealer to me, after coming close to deals in Florida, NY, OK, WA and AZ. Go figure. They had a lease return 3 days ago. I will go in tomorrow morning to sign papers and take delivery. 
A few major quick questions for now:
What are all the books and manuals supposed to come with the car? Can someone post a quick checklist?
2 remote keyfobs and 1 valet, right?
any other de-facto things? I know AMG mats....???...

Tell me about the one at FJ of Fremont. I'll tell you if it's the same one. Although I doubt if autonation trades with FJ.

As long as you have all of those you're set.
My 63 came with enough books to fill the leather case (service book and two manuals)
And only two keys, no separate valet key. The valet key is built into one of the keys as usual. Make sure you get the NAV DVD of course
