CLS63 vs SL65 race
my friend has a SL65 and he wants to race tomorrow and have it on video.... do u think my cls63 will stand a chance? he wants to race from 0-100mph
any thoughts?

I will try to get it done tomorrow! one more thing,, he really drives his car rough with over 15k miles,, and i only have 3k so far,, but nevertheless w'll see i have faith in my CLS63

I raced my brothers SL65 the other day , It was not a pretty sight...
His 65 is extremely modified, He has about 825hp. Up to 80mph the 63 kept up pretty good, After that there was no comparison whatsoever, I recommend u dont step up to that car... Anyway Heres a pic of our cars together.

I raced a 63 and a stock 55 at three different lights going to a recent meet in my 65. These were stop light runs up to about 70 mph and it wasnt close and I had the most wheel spin of the three cars. Lets just say that if its a rolling race, say goodbye ...

we all know reality Vic, why spoil the fantasy, the dream man... dam. Better question is have you raced a modded 63 one with a spare 63 in the trunk..LOL How about a 63 with NO CHARCOAL FILTERS , look out man ,let the mods begin

But yes let the mods begin ... hopefully there will be enough gains for me to justify trading in my 55 for a white E63 with a pano ...

Have Kleeman stage one e55 and chipped sl 65.
i drive the 55 all week then the weekend comes and its 65 time, there is no comparison the sixty will eat that 63. I guess you have to get something for another 80k!

I was there and can vouch for Vic on the fact that he pulled on an E55 and an E63. But from the numbers that I have seen from the E63 vs. the CLS63 I'd like to see the CLS63 vs. Vic's CL65. I know he'll still walk me but I'd like to see how badly.
As for the SL65 vs. your CLS63, make sure your filters are removed, your AC is off, and you're starting from a dead stop, but even then the 65 is an absolute uber-car . You won't stand a chance.

those two cars next to each other are AMAZING!!!!! i called him today to meet and race but his car was getting some interior detailling 
hopefully tomorrow we will get it on! I still have my charcoal filter in tho!

How? He dropped a grip of money on Kleeeman mods, I think he has the ecu and the transmission chipped as well, not sure what else but I could find out if u need it. He also has a black/red slr and his sl65 smokes it after 130. I'll post pics next time I see him.

Im sorry, but you dont stand a chance...only if he spins do you have a little chance...just dont run him over 100mph, those cars really shine in the higher speeds.

There are more than a few members with higher than 825 numbers. Don't recall which now but I am sure they'll step forward soon to claim some credit. Go read the SL65 board and you'll see a bunch of guys with 750+ I remember seeing a dyno once that read something insane like 916 RWHP.
