Modded to modded or stock to stock Tan. Drag race or from a roll? What 997TT traps in the mid 120's? Even a magazine racer will have a tough time finding one of those. Have you driver either car?? I am sure a modded TT will give a 65 a run but what about a modded 65??
If you are talking about a controlled environment drag race then the odds are much closer but from a roll is where I am coming from. Tan I was talking about a rolling race- we all know the 997TT in tip formation is the ultimate stop light racer and because of its launch capabilities will put up good quarter mile times.

Maybe in the magazines it would seem so but Ive smoked 2 turbos in my stock sl65. On the freeway the 65 has its way all day. turbos are awesome but u must hit your gears perfectly to beat a 65, 1 mistake and u lose...

Plus I beat a Z06!!
And I have killed 1 997, only beaten by modded 996! I think the 65 walks the Z06 and the 997 from a roll. The Vette reeled in the 997? The 65 should do that too. I saw today on the M6 board a guy went 214 mph!!!!!! jee

Yo race fuel wont do a thing. Just lower your tire pressure a little in the rear, 1/4 tank at most we can always go get some fuel. Our ECU dont know what to do with race fuel! Get the shi* out your trunk for sure. I was practicing the power brake , esp off for sure. Im gonna run my rear tires at 28psi ! We need to get 13.0 or better this would give the CLS the # 1 63 time!!!! Blumax on his 1st and only run ran a corrected time of 12.3*@116!!!

I used to drive my pop's 997TT Tiptronic (with sport chrono). It was easier to launch than my CLK500 and you could pull consistant 0-60's at 3.5 sec.
But I still feel like from a roll my friend's Stage 1 E55 would have a good chance pulling on it. Even on a 0-120 I wouldn't be suprised if the modded 55k is ahead of it. An SL65 should definitely pull it.

theoretically it should be but i am unsure that the SLR is the fastest platform as the times that have been posted i believe are all stock and there will be some faster posted times coming soon on the 65/600 platform, trust me ....heres is a compilation of the fastest/quickest posted biturbos in the country:
