Anyone Selling a CLS55?

Hi All,

I've decided to pick up a cls55.
Looking for a black with Ash interior or Black with Charcoal; fully loaded with all options, and preferably under 20k miles.
OH...one more thing...Not interested in any car with a drilled/installed front license plate.

Feel free to send me a PM if you're selling or know of someone selling.
Must be clean and showroom condition please.

I looked at one today with 17k miles with an 030 package, and I don't know wtf happened to that car...door dings everywhere, panels missing, leather all scraped, another words...I don't know how someone can f*ck up car like that with only 17k miles.

Thanks

Wanna take over my lease? $14k miles on it. Barolo red with cashmere interior. Every option and Brabus mods. Lease payment is $1500 a month. The only catch is, you gotta get me into a CL63 lease though! hahahahha.

...I would get rid of it for a new CL though....

urgh....NO!
Did I not say Black?
Your ride sounds nice, but if it was black...then I'd definitely be interested.
Getting you into a CL63...not problem...can't you do that yourself?
Just go to the dealer and put down a deposit....they'll be happy to take your money for a another one

uh...tryin to figure out the humor...but it's cool.
btw "receive" is spelled with an ei not ie...hahahaha

hey...how do you like that S550?
Since you also drive a cls55...doesn't the S550 seem kind of sluggish?

I originally ordered a S63.
Long story short, I'm not going to take delivery and need a replacement ride since I traded in my S55.

Therefore....this is serious my friend...I need a ride for a couple of years until hopefully mbz gets their act together on the s63.

I have a 2006 CLS55 with pretty much every option except the 030. Its black on black with the upgraded leather, active seats, nav, electronic trunk closer, park distance control, remote entry etc etc. The car has many other upgrades as listed:

1) 20" Lowenhart rims/tire package. Black center/chrome lip ~$9000
2) Kleemann lowering module $2000
3) Custom foglights with factory like wiring $2000
4) K40 built in radar detector with front and rear laser modules and remote control $2000 (installed)
5) Upgraded AMG factory wooden steering wheel to match the woodgrain in the car $3000
6) Tail and side markers professionally "blacked out" $600
7) Front grill professionally painted black $800
8) Custom tinted windows $800

The above upgrades cost more than 20K. The car is absolutely in pristine condition and currently has 16K on it with oil changes done every ~5K. If i remember correctly, the sticker price on the car was $107K. I will consider reasonable offers. Here are some pics: I can take better ones if interested.

Nice car, but why would you take all of your modfication prices and double and nearly tripple their cost? Were all enthusiasts here, and we are all aware of costs, no need to exaggerate

Maybe he was ripped off?

Mods are worthless in terms of resale, If you paid 50k for mods you would be lucky to recoup 20% of that. I would not assume he is exaggerating , its possible that is what he paid and simply got taken to the cleaners by the shop. 2ok in mods or 15k in mods you still cannot expet to recover the "cost" of the mod in some cases it could de-value the car.

No offense, but can you tell me how my prices trippled? Walk into a wheel/rim shop, how much will they charge you for a set of 20" of my style Lowenharts with black center/chrome lip and a set of 20" tires? If you can get them for $3000/$4500 please let me know. Price on the Kleemann is well known, and you can easily check what a Calibre system with all the bells and and laser front and rear diffuser costs. People charge different things for installation. You can do it yourself or you can take it somewhere to have it done right. It goes the same for paintwork. You can take the same work to a low, avg, and top of the line place and get three very different quotes.

I do not feel I got ripped off on any of those items. Could I have gone on line and searched around and tried to find something a couple of hundred bucks cheaper? Sure, but thats it not the route I decided to take.

I thought you were jacking up the price too but If thats really what u paid then there is no need to find out how much those items really cost. All jokes aside. Next time shop around cause you could have saved half of that amount. Nice car man, Looks great though.

Edit..
Since you asked to let you know, here you go...

A quick search and I found your wheels for $4500 without tires, so $1500 or so for tires and your no more then $7k, and thats in a 30 second search..
http://www.streetdreams.org/wheels/r...20Chrome%20Lip

AMG steering wheel $3k? I paid $1200
Tinted Windows $800? I paid $450 for all windows including front winshield and felt on the rubber doors. I've never heard of or seen a $800 tint job.

Tinted tail lights $600, I paid $250 from somkedlamps.com
Your wheels are fairly priced, and I know are pricey, those were the items that I thought were inflated.

I'm sure we live in different areas but, I just found your numbers on the higher side.

I honestly do not want to turn this into a pissing contest. Since you posted street dreams, i am not sure how you got $4500 for a set of four rims. I clicked on the same link and got $1540 for 20X11 rims and $1420 for 20X9.5 rims. That adds to more than $6k, not $4500. Add four tires, shipping. Also, my buddy tried to order some Maya rims from the same site about six months ago and the wheels he wanted although listed on their site was not available at that price and he had to wait 12weeks, etc. So he ended buying a set locally at a shop that had them in stock at a more premium price. WHen you buy this stuff locally, when you add tax, installation, etc etc, **** adds up.

I just posted my car up that might potentially be up for sale for the right price. I am not desparate to sell my car one bit. Since i bought it last year and had everything done, i have not been on this board, and wanted to mention what mods and what options it came with. I did not know i would offend people by mentioning that it had remote entry

Your car looks great, however, you got ripped off like no other

800 for tint, 800 for grill paint, tail and side markers blacked out for 600... i'll stop there

No longer car shopping...
so, do you guys think saman's car is worth ....$80K-$85K today? I do remember another MB member sold his original 1-yr old $123K-cost car black CLS55 for something like $95K, right? Of course he also had the full Renntech tuning and TONs of other goodies. I even bid on it when it was around $75K (wishing on a prayer) but was surprised when I saw it finally go under $100K. I expect this would be a similar situation. He'd get more selling the parts than he would the whole.

To the OP, I know you did say BLACK, but I ran across this locally advertised car and thought it is REALLY CHEAP.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/car/370153352.html

from the pictures, it appears to have park and sirius too.

Absolutely no affiliations, just saw a good deal and thought I'd pass along to the forum.

Thanks for the post!
Just spoke to him...seems to be a cool dude.
That one is sold, but he's a broker so he has the ability to find me one.

My only hesitation in buying a Benz from a broker is that you can't extend the factory warranty. Only if you buy from a MB dealer. So that puts your fate in the hands of a third-party warranty provider. No matter who I've looked at for 3rd party warranty providers, they all have TONS of negative reviews and horror stories that show up when you serch for info on them.

I'm sure there are some good warranty providers out there, but nothing IMO is going to equal a factory warranty. Correct me if I'm wrong!

So unless the broker finds you a CLS55 with the extended MB warranty (out to what 7/100k?), I'd factor in the warranty hassle as part of the puzzle.

Just my thoughts... I'm also thinking about moving the E55 for a CLS55. Always loved the lines and I don't use the rear seats more than once per month, and even then it is for short hops.

Same deal... Not from a MB dealer (BMW dealer), so no factory 100k warranty possibility. Otherwise a good deal.
