Full price dealer cost for a 2007 CLS 63??

There is a new 2007 CLS 63 for sale - the dealer wants their cost for it though - its a graphite grey designo.
What do you guys think?? Do you think that it is worth it?? Should I wait for the 2008 which is just weeks away - plus I can get the carbon interior at no additional cost??

Any suggestions?!?!?

sorry - that's MSRP. I think that dealer cost would be about $4000-$5000 less than that...

The invoice on that car before options would be about $85,000 Depending on the options including the desino package ($5K) I would guess the dealer cost is around $95,000.00 to $97,000.00.

What a rip. By now you should able to get at least $7K off MSRP. I was able to do that last year, you sure as **** should be able to do it this year.

It you like it buy it. But if you absolutely want a deal wait until the 08s arrive. Then the inventory of the 07 drops dramatically. And the fun part is that you can take your time test driving each of them to decide.

From my experience, the designo and IWC editions don't fly off the showroom floors especially a year old model.

BTW--I got almost 14K off my 06 in 07 just because it sat and sat with the 030 package. What a shame.

Limited Slip Differential
increase speed limiter from 155 to 186 mph along with 186 rated tires
Stiffer suspension
Alcantara Headliner
AMG Alcantara steering wheel
2-piece two spoke alloy rims

What I find
I was refered to FJ...

They are not blowing up my skirt. I am not impressed to say the least. They are asking full retail saying how the 63's are rare and how dealers get allocated like 80 and that there are 40 dealers, so each dealer gets like 2 a month....blah..blah.

I told them I want to buy, am ready to buy, when they want to discount 7% off of sticker, to call me.

I beleive a deal is only good if both sides agree they are getting somthing they each want. I am not there yet as this is so far a one sided deal.

dealer should be able to lower the price on this.

BTW: I have graphite grey designo 55 and I'm getting insane amount of compliments.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
It's difficult for pictures to capture how nice this color is.
It looks great in person.

I'm surprise what you say about FJ.
You need to chill out when shoping. Keep your hands in your pockets and let the sales people do the talking (try to be the goofey buyer like colombo). BTW, shoping towards the end of the month, end of quarter, end of model year during luch time is best. Not many walk ins then. You might want to put your wish list on internet sales.

BTW--I had them eating out my hand on a pre owned 65 (which they get quite often). So I'm surprised what you're saying. Be carefull and consistent in and what you say due to the fact that they track customers with their data base.
