Went to Great Lakes Dragaway this morning. The track was in terrific shape and empty early.
Made 7 passes in under an hour and 3 runs with 60ft times of 1.89 or better
First time out in the CLS. My car is totally stock. Even has original tires with over 19k miles on them.
Tell me how or where to post videos or pics!!

If the R/T can be improved .25, then this would have almost been a sub 12 run.
Your engine must be cranking out at least 500hp stock. You should have it dyno'd.
Find out which engine builder signed your engine and post his name. I think we are onto something here--engines with his name may be in demand.

Thanks everyone. I am very happy with the performance. I have run my 01 Lightning.........03 Z06.......04 Viper and none were as consistent as the CLS.
Car did not dyno all that great but that was a while ago. I think thats evident by my trap speed.
As everyone knows cooler weather is always better for forced induction cars
Air temp was low to mid 50's. Don't know the elevaton its Great Lakes
Dragaway in Wisconsin...got to believe it's pretty low.
m_berman the clock starts when you do so the times would not change. Wish it was ...sub 12's would be nice.
Here's the big question??? What Mods will it take to get this thing to 11.99?

Your close now.
Take out some weight and you may hit 11.9, the spare, the mats, the plastic, the books , the tools.
Your car is definately running strong and steady.
Now we will really be challenged to catch you!!!
I trapped 113.88 and ran a 12.61 7/7/7 your 12.28 is gonna be hard to top.
I think your trap speed was a tad slow for the ET which means IMHO you were faster first half of the track , you may want to upgrade the pump as well. You have a strong car and will hit 11.9 perhaps just by removing 75 pounds

Mathmik...
1. Dyno Mode
2. Leave line 1st gear in S and let the car up shift at redline
3. Comfort Ride...maybe better for launch but slower traps??
4. 35lbs PSI rear when hot...since I don't have the 030 option lots more rubber wadded up on right side of car. Wish I had a locking diff.
5. 40lbs PSI front cold (before I drove to track)
6. Half tank of gas
IngenereAMG...I want to do Pulley and ECU Tune...I am a DIY type guy. Please give me some advice.
Juicee63...I weigh nearly 250lbs...I should just let my daughter drive...would save 125lbs right off the bat!! I am with you on the pulley and tune. I find it hard to pay 3g's for the exact same thing I paid 500 bucks for in my Lightning...Oh well.

Hope I can match you end of November in my 63....I weigh 235 but do have 40% locking LSD. I pulled my 70 lb battery and replaced it with a 6.5 lb one, lost my spare and all my tools and am searching for a 70-80 lb reduction on wheels and tires. Your car confirmed for me many things...I think you could hit sub 12s with some simple weight reduction and yes we both should let someone else drive LOL...Great runs welcome to the MBWORLD its so cool to have a 55 running. Now I can compare my runs to yours and post slips side by side to really pin point the cars ft by ft. You should bracket race the CLS!!!!
Great run bro!
