Look at what you wrote, come on, didn't want to go over 99mph, did he even wanna race, it didn't look like it to me, or did you ask him not to floor it, so you can proof a point? the vid was even if a stock cls, beats a stock S, that's fine, but it would never be that bad, second of all, I was not trying to clown either cars, I was asking an honest question, just cause I just bought my car 2 months ago, third of all, there is only one vid Last but not least, you called me a kid in my other thread, aren't you born in 80 something? Too funny. Your car will be almost identical to the CLS55, E55, and SL55 no matter what anyone else says. Actually there is so much variation of each engine that one S55 may be a little faster than someone else's E55 or SL55 and vice versa. No big difference but maybe a quarter of a car length to 100 or the 1/4 mile. All have the same engine and exhaust, the weight's are not that ridiculously different, and only the SL55 may be a little more aerodynamic. They all hall *** and are very close when stock. Thanks, I know the E55 is faster, due to weight. Anyhow we're all AMGs, I wasn't trying to put down any of them, I was just asking a question, and this guy, just got butt hurt, and started bashing, on my earlier thread, and now he has that pathetic vid.

Bye the way his car has had 3 owners since 2003 and not only that but it has 51,000 miles compared to 13,000 on my CLS.

I would believe it, if the S55 had 151000 miles. There is no way in hell, you will beat an S55 by that much, dued, wake up, seriously, they are the same car, Cls a little lighter, and the S a little more hp. Common sense

On a more serious note the race was a little power in the sense, not all vids are living proof that this will happen always.
Secondly i am not totally sure, but when did the S55 get the 55k engine?
As that could have been the naturally aspirated v8 non Kompressor

all 55k have 493hp (500), its just marketing from mb so that the more expensive S,SL,CL dont lose face to their cheaper models E, CLS etc.

As for beating an S55 by 2 cars, dream on buddy, get your facts straight, your car weights a few pounds lighter, and believe me, not that much at all, and also a few Hp less, but again may be you drove the slowest S55 ever, and you own the fastest CLS55 ever.

Lame videos....

The S55 pressed the brake long before it passed the camera. This is quite obvious in both videos.

If I see correctly, @ end of 4th second and beginning of 5th second, the S55 was about even (+/- 0.5 CL) then it let off.
