CLS 63 AMG (previously) looking for another AMG
The sound of AMG
Greetings all,
I am interested to know that your favourite exhaust note from AMG is?
As much as I love the sound of my CLS 63 (although I have never heard it from the outside), a SL55 flew past me recently which sounded fantastic! Very deep, muscular etc. I also adore the sound of the SLR!!! All very different.

2006 E55 BEAST
Yeah, the SL55 sounds like a tornado. I dont know if they made it louder on the SL55 or if they toned it down on the E55, but i want my car to sound just like that

Of course I like the sound of the SL55, but I want my AMG to sound like an old Hot Rod, only Louder! 
That's why I'm getting VRP's Stage 3 Heads with Oversized Valves and Aggressive Cams along with VRP's Longtube Headers, Straight pipes, and I'm gutting my stock AMG Mufflers.
I can't wait to hear it idle and at WOT! Especially with More Boost!

2008 CLS 63 & 2005 SL55
I own both
'05 SL55 and '08 CLS 63 ..
The SL55 sound is music to my ears. The CLS 63 has an anemic sound in my opinion. '09 CLS 63's are supposed to have different resonators to give the car a more muscular sound. If I like how the '09 sounds, I just may install the '09 resonators .
