Indy driver Marco Andretti "loves his CLS63"
March 08, Motor Trend interview with Marco Andretti who said "I keep a Mercedes Benz CLS63 in Indianapolis-what a great motor, very torquey.
You might remember back in May 07 Marco said "a Mercedes CLS 63, which I love"
My point being, after a year this young man is still talking about his CLS63. I would guess that most 19 years olds in his income bracket would change cars on a whim... if they felt like it.

Mick Doohan worked hard to earn his fun. He spent 11 years putting his body on the line in the cut-throat 500cc World Championship motorcycle racing circus. He amassed an incredible five world titles in the sport's premier class despite receiving terrible injuries that left permanent scars.

Mick Doohan is an absolute legend. He is a big AMG fan. He did a Targa Tasmania Rally in an AMG. I think a few times (not sure) He also drove the Maybach Excelero on a deminstration lap before the Bathurst 1000 some years back.

National League MVP Jimmy Rollins is featured in the February 27th issue of ESPN the magazine which is on newsstands now. The article, titled Ready to Roll, by Tim Keown takes a look at JRoll's attempt at catching Joe DiMaggio's historic hitting streak.
The article points out that Jimmy is 27, lives in a house fit for MTV cribs formerly owned by Boyz 2 Men singer Michael McCary, and recently signed a 5 year, $40 million dollar deal. He is having fun with it all, a Cali native with a house in both NJ and FL. He recently purchased a Mercedes CLS 55 Carlsson, the only one of its kind in North America.

CLS 55/63 is a great car. Drives very well, sporty, not as bulky as the S63/65 and a much fresher look than the E55/63.
But the car is getting killed in the wholesale market. Who knows why. You'll be seeing retail $50k CLS55's by next year. Wholesale price is already upper 50's.

Ken completed the Rally America season in second place—pretty good for a “rookie” still just in his second full rally season. To cap off a good year, Ken also became a dad, hence the need for a “civilized” daily driver.

Well, I had a Bentley Continental GT. Absolutely beautiful car, I really enjoyed it. The problem that I had with it was I’m not used to driving cars that get that much attention. Also, the fact that it was a two door car—that was actually my first-ever two-door car. So I got rid of it and I was looking to get a new four-door car. And I just really liked the CLS. It’s just…the lines of it are much more of an aggressive, sportier looking car, even with it being a four-door. And the CLS 55 is the best performing version of that car. I searched for one in black, found it, and bought it.
