Another Unhappy Customer of 360 Forged

Ok guys,

I had enough of Jordan and 360 Forged.

Back in 2007, I ordered a set of 19" Spec Five wheels for my CLS and deposit were done on 12 December 2007, with lead time on completion about 3-5 weeks. I received my wheels on 17th February 2008, which is okay since the delay is on flight and customs and blablabla.

But here come the odds:

1) My back wheels arrived with different dimension from what I requested. When i ordered, i CLEARLY stated that the size for the rear wheels are 10" wide and 19" diameter. But Jordan sent me 10.5" wide wheels. When i asked him about it, he said it is the best fitment for the car.

Wait,
hang on a minute,

who gives you the authority to decide what's best? Even if a customer ask for a 13" murcielago wide wheels for a Smart car, you still have to do it right? You can't alter the order according to your liking without notifying your customer right? YES, he DID NOT tell me until I looked at the INVOICE issued.

Than there's another issue with the INVOICE i received.

I ORDERED
8.5" x 19" front
10" x 19" rear

INVOICE
9.5" x 19" front
11" x 19" rear

WHEELS RECEIVED
8.5" x 19" front
10.5" x 19" rear

not to be rude here J, but what the? is it that hard to read those numbers?

I had to order a rare sized tyre of 295/30/ZR 19 to fit the 10.5" wheels which took about 2 months to arrive. The wheels were in my storeroom until than.

Next,

2) Front wheels hub is wrong sized
What happens is the front wheels hub is bigger by a few millimeters than it supposed to be. This means even if the wheels are screwed properly to the car, the wheels can still rattle due to small gap in the center.*see picture for reference, i'm referring to the center which my finger is pointed at. Come on now, what happened to Machine Precision and Quality Control?

ONE MORE THING, what's with the RUSTED CENTER CAPS? ITS FINE ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT LOOK ON THE INSIDE, WTF?

Than there's the back of the wheels. why does it have those scratches on it?
what happens to your pre-delivery inspection and stuff? Are those wheels BRAND NEW or had it been mounted on some car before?

3) Alright here's the ball buster.
All reverse fasteners RUSTED. All four wheels.
And i'm not making this up. Here are pictures as proof.

as you can see here, only the air tubing is not rusted. What happened to Titanium reverse fasteners? Those looked like some cheap household bolts from a hardware store to me. Come on now, RUSTED components and you charged me $5k+ for such products?

Due to the incorrect fitment and rust I had no choice but to send the wheels back to Jordan.
Even than, J tried to avoid me shipping back the wheels. He suggested that he machine hubcentric rings for the front wheels and get done with it. Yeah I know he had to cover the shipping charges and stuff which is a loss on his side, but this is a part of customer service right? You delivered a defective product, so it's logic that you take it back without drama right? Or are you risking your company's reputation?

Jordan said he received the wheels on 25th December 2008 and his job is to replace the front wheels and all those rusted fasteners and send them back to me. Right gentlemen, how long will that take?

Its 16th March 2009 now and i still don't have the wheels. He said the wheels are ready to go on 15 Feb, and until now I don't even know where are wheels.
He didn't reply my mails since February and he barely posted anything at MBWorld anymore.

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to start an argument here. I'm just stating my experience of dealing with them and I'm waiting for Jordan bro to step up and give me a good explanation. I'm on all ears to listen! I believe I'm not the first to complain about your procrastination with overseas customers. If you cannot deilver what you said, I suggest you give me full refund and keep the wheels to yourself. Simple right? Everyone will be happy too.

I was ready to order a set of spec fives but the communication was a bit lacking and I then discovered some of these negative threads, being along way away its important that i have a good feeling about a supplier. With a quote of $8200 you expect a prompt professional service. I'll tuck this money under the bed for now...

That is sick. I would dispute the charges and send your post to the credit card company with the pics. Send those POS rims back and get your money back man.

to the people that are still considering ordering from this company: can you not read or do you not come around this forum very often? seems like every week there is another person coming forward that feels like they are getting screwed by this company and i just dont understand why anyone that is active here would still order from them.

do a search, if you have the time, there are plenty of pissed off people complaining about this company and their lack of anything resembling customer service.

That's unfortunate. I had thought 360 was a reliable company but there have been a lot of negative posts regarding their wheels & service lately.
