.., does the V2 remote allows you to simply switch the module off and go back to stock ?
... even when driving ?

thanks

Yes...you simply push "module OFF" and it resumes factory height. You can use the remote anytime although I only recommend when stopped.

I also thought I would never have a need to use the remote but decided to do it anyway and it is a pretty cool feature. I know nothing of the other modules but I love the renn-tech and love the ride quality. I thought I only wanted approx 1 to 1.25" drop but find I like how aggressive the car looks between 1.6 and 2" drop I get on the remote. I can pretty much tuck the tires if I want

does your car remain the same height while parked?

Lots or unfounded misinformation in this thread regarding this product. I installed the C-tronic about 5 minutes ago

1) 100% plug n Play

2) In sport 2 and set to the C-tronics Max drop. The tops of the tires are not visible. This unit lowers the car MUCH more than whats suggested in this thread, and by other vendors.

3) Install time about 4 minutes *literally*

4) I will have to go back in and raise the max drop to 24mm as opposed to 30mm i have it set to now, Its just to low i will post pics when i return.

Nothing is off about my review Sir. Just trying to share my experience with the community and anyone who is considering this lowering system. I am just a happy customer. I purchased this system from kennedy Performance. I could not be happier with my purchase. I'm sure the renntech system is great. However as stated the Carlsson system was perfect for my needs. The car looks great and the install was a breeze.

Thats a great question the Carlsson manual states that in motion the car raises a little to maintain the best possible ride quality. I honestly have not been able to tell a difference. I don't hear the air compressor kick on or off while driving.

.. seems to me it's low enough !
maybe the first pic is lower or it's only an eye effect ?

concerning drive, what you finally like most: that setting or stock ?

Dyno

I personally like it the way it is now. 30mm front and 24mm rear set on Normal. Sport 1-2 are to low when the module is configured for the maximum drop. I am also a bit concerned about all the misinformation posted in this thread and some of the misleading PM's i have received from other ELM Manufactures. The C-Tronic seems like a no brainer but it does not seem to be very popular in this community. I am glad didn't follow the hurd blindly for my ELM purchase. Concerning driving, I like it lowered 30mm over the stock ride height.

Hmm.. after reading this thread I wish I bought the Carlsson C-Tronic instead of my RENNtech ELM v2. I usually like to stay away from the herd and do unique things, and this would have been one of them.

Please tell me... how much was this unit and where did you get it from?

The car is absolutely gorgeous by the way! I love it.

Thanks man!!! I purchased the C-Tronic from Kennedy performance. I believe it was $1495. For me its worth its price in gold. I will tell you that all the myths about the C-Tronic are false. Here is a picture of 30mm front 24mm rear on Sport I, Sport II puts the fenders right at the top of the tires, and gives that slammed look everyone seems to like. This is the height it sits at when driving. As i mentioned the system installs in under 5 minutes and its 100% plug and play.

What other MB tuning does ELM besides Carlsson and Renntech? How about Brabus ELM, is it the same as Carlsson?

Can you turn off the module and return the cls to its stock height? If so, how? Does your car rub and can you drive in sport 1 or sport 2?
