I took out my passenger seat, put on light weight front tires and rims, and yeah the track was very fast, air was perfect. 60% humidity in 54 degrees, sun shining.
The weather accounted for most of it (trap) I only improved my ET .03 lol

Nice run Josh and too bad we couldn't get my skinny's on for a pass. This was my 1st pass with the skinny setup and I was very impressed how stable my car felt. It actually felt more stable than Mo's E63...lol. We have to do it one more time buddy before doomsday.
+1 on the perfect weather! IMO it was the most ideal day to run at a TnT without the addition of any VHT. Of course we didn't have MIR type DA but with a day that cold and TnT prep would = no traction.
BTW...Rick you would have loved the conditions yesterday, boy did you miss out on a good one!

It's really amazing how he shaved almost a second in the 1/4 mile with just a few simple mods. He's also a great driver and that contributes a lot to the equation. I only wish I could be even just as half as good as he is when it comes to reaction time and launching

I am amazed I did not hit 11's as the car I ran hit 11.92 and I beat the car down the track..
Guess I need to keep trying. Just need an 11.93 or better. Car has about 20-30 hp over stock.

a better question to ask is :
How does a 4300 lb 420 RWHP car trap 120.6
Rick was off the Nitrous on the 118.6. His car has trapped 124 at the same track.
The nitrous system has been difficult to dial in, but perhaps on 1/16/2010 we will see some traps and ET's more indicative of the dyno numbers he pulled.
