2006 cls500 amg package
cls500 converted
i have a 2006 cls500 amg package. basically looks like a cls55amg but with a standard 5.0 which was slow as heck. anyhow after blowing my motor i decided to go 5.5. so i purchased a 2004 clk55 engine which is the same engine out of the cls55amg just without the blower. below are the mods:
5.5N/A
evo sport pulleys
cls55 amg intake set up with upgraded filters( there green not sure what brand but they werent cheap)
pistons forged
ECU upgrade
Headers
3.25 piping from the header
resonator delete
amg mufflers
nitrous express plugs
evosport wires
NOS automated175 Shot nitrous system
nitrous controller
nitrous computer
stand alone fuel management system 116 octane gas
including fuel cell, racing fuel pump.
oh and i changed all the decals lol the the cls55amg, i just didnt put the v8kompressor decal because it looks cleaner without it. the only obvious thing thats a giveaway that its not a cls55 is the factor that i dont have brembos but hey the calipers are painted red.

your probly thinking i could have just bought a cls55 for all the money ive spent and if so your right but at the time the 500 was all i could afford and i liked that sedan coupe body style so, after modding out the stock 500 with bolt ons and finally blowing it i just decided to go all out, but it was very expensive. about 25k just to do the nos set up the right way it was about 11k. but its bad a*** everything is off of one button and im running two bottles in my trunk, it purges itself, automatic bottle heaters, automatic bottle openers, automatically turns on the fuel pump and activates the fuel system for the nitrous system, and it shoots in stages. 1st gear 50shot, 2nd gear 80shot, 3rd gear 150, 4th,5th ,6th gear 175. as for the engine swap well i had to upgrade my radiator to the cls55 and remap my ecu for a clk55 and they had to do some modifications for the oil pan, and upgrade my piping to 3.25 which cost me about 1200 which was a deal from what heard. the egine ran about 7k it had 65k miles on it. the installation ran about 5k. the software upgrade 1500. i still havent had the car tuned completely but i will have the dyno with nos and without next week. and as for exterior some 22inch forgiatos.

before i completely changed up the 5.0 engine just had pulleys and the cls55amg intake with the filters and the resonator delete and a 150 shot of nitrous and i was killing mostly everything on the road to be honest, thats untill i came up against a modded s55 on the highway already going 60mph and melted some pistons but that was after running the nos back to back 3 times in a row. most of the competition was at maybe a 15mph rolling start or from a dead start and i would just spray on them out of 1st gear nearly dominating from the start.

wet direct port. it takes pretty good with the 5.5N/A, plus i have the forged pistons that allows me to spray at higher levels while giving me some extra HP and Torque. i learned from frying the 5.0 standard engine. basically my engine got so hot from running it back to back like that and i forgot to mention i was running stock spark plugs which caused the engine to detonate and from that point on it was over. so now when i spray once i give it some time before i spray again. the 5.5N/A is a really strong motor though and its alot more powerful then that 5.0 standard for sure so now i actually let my engine work before i hit the button
