I agree it's a great feature that both the single disk and changer both play mp3 songs. Note that there is a 99 song limit. I have a bunch of cds with more than 99 songs, but the player moves on to the next cd after the 99th song. Still way better than regular cds.

Can someone help me in creating an MP3 CD? Even after converting my iTunes songs to mp3 format, I still hit that 80 minute mark after about 15 songs...thanks!

To create an MP3 CD in iTunes:
1. Create a Playlist with the songs you want on the CD, limit it to 99 songs
2. Insert blank CD-R in your CD Burner
3. Click "Burn Disk" in lower right corner of iTunes
4. Select the "MP3 CD" radio button on the "Burn Settings" Dialog Box

The 6 CD Changer was optional on the 2006 CLS (available with the Premium Package) and became a standard feature starting in 2007. My 2007 plays MP3 CDs in both the single and 6 CD Changer. Not sure if the 2006 model year plays MP3s. I would think all models starting with 2007 play MP3s in both players.
