believe it, ive abused the heck out of the nexen N3000s i have on at the moment. AND theyve withstand and STILL at good standings....and still up to PAR.
acceptable grip with a little bit of sliding for fun, and awesome threadwear lol!

NEXT set of tires would be Falken 452's

Went from the factory to PS2. Noticed the improvement in the cornering.
Since I have the 030 package maintained the same speed rating of (Y) and the XL [ the parenthesis is a higher rating than just the 'Y' and the XL is xtra load). These tires are expensive and not everyone has them. Costco just had the rears. Make sure you get the road hazard policy with these tires.

bump! What tires are you guys using on your 20's? I would like to hear input. I have been running falken f452 tires for the longest..and although i have been satisfied(other than quick tire wear), the other day while i was at NTB(national tire and battery) the tech told me the falkens are cheap and that I should have went with the michilen pilot sports. The falkens are def. not cheap(well in price aspect) so not sure if he was just trying to sell me on stuff especially since I will be needing new tires in about 2-3 months but it did open my mind to possibility of trying other tires.

PS2's are by far the best I've had.

Notable mentions go out to Nitto NT05's and Invo's.

Bought some Hankook Ventus V12 Evo in 19 inch for my CLS55. I liked them so much that when I went to 20 inch wheels I bought four more! If you don't believe me, go to Car and Driver; they loved them too. They ranked them second behind PS2s which I had before my Hankooks. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference, but my wallet could. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...12_evo_page_10

I posted this before a while back. I still love these tires! This summer I'll be running Vredesteins thanks to my buddy, Marcus. I'll try to compare the two.

If you want more comfortable ride on 20's, Continental Extreme Contact DW is the way to go. I have them currently on my car and like them very much + the price was very attractive too. The only problem with these tires seems to be their softness which might result in premature wear when often engaging in "enthusiastic driving." I've had previously PS2's and Hankook Ventos V12's. I liked both of them, however neither one was able to match the comfort that Continentals offer.

I drive on Continental Extreme Contact DWS in 19s for my winter wheels and agree they give a comfortable ride. But, I will argue that most people will not notice a difference between the 20 inch PS2s, the Contis, or the Hankooks on your normal to aggressive street driving. I would recommend you save yourself 40% or more and try out the Hankooks. Spend the extra money elsewhere on your car.

+1 on the Ventus as well.

I had PS2's on my CL55 and recently switched over to the Ventus V12's (might as well since I work at a HK tire shop..lol)

Original link was broken so I took the liberty of pulling the page out..hope you dont mind.

PZero Nero's are the best I've had, sticky & controllable... Invos where horrendous! I think the Nero's, for the money, are the best. I've gone through a lot of tires ; )

After talking to my tire guy..he said given the price of the ps2's, the fact that I'm running rubberbands on my 20's and living in the midwest(crappy roads..potholes..etc) he would always recommend falken's especially since its one of the hardest sidewalls he has seen. I def. am going to look into the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tho.

I have run 19 inch 295's (rear) Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position, very sticky tire and quiet and now on 20 inch Ventus V12's 305's rear. Now im not sure if its because the the size difference, but the bridgestone's were much more stickier, took more to break loose, and inspired more confidence. The Ventus V12's seemed to take longer to warm up, not as sticky at the Potenza's, but then again not as expensive, but do not give the confidence that the potenza's give.

I have Pilot Sports and very good. Have also had stock Contisports (crap), and BF Goodrich. The BF's were good for the money and better than stock and way better than the Hancooks IMO.

I've had Hancook Ventus 12 and I don't agree they are good. In fact I think they were quite crappy. Not much grip at all.

I had the V12's. When one got a nail the local tire shop told me to switch to BF Goodrich and they would be much better. I was skeptical since the reviews were so good on the V12's.They were right. Much better grip wet and dry. They were a just a bit more than the V12's and much cheaper than PS2's or Pilot Sports.
