in the market to get the cls55
Hi guys,
I'm currently researching on some 2006 cls55 and i want to know what thing i should look out for (problems etc) when checking out the car in person.
The cars i;m looking at are all around 35,000 miles to 45K miles.
Would the price range of 35,000 to 40,000 dollars good for that much milelage and year? Any advice would be helpful when it comes to purchasing!
Thanks!

98 QS Supra, 06 CLS55, Procharged SRT8 300c, 2JZ Foxbody mustang, 08 PSD F250, out of room.
Check the classified section there are several CLS55 for sale.
I would say 30K miles expect to pay upper 40's, 40k miles lower 40's, 50k miles upper 30's.

Hey SL500, did you make a purchase yet? I'm just curious what you've found out about the CLS'. I have an 06 CLS55, myself, and have a few things for you. Overall, I love the car; but there are some things to be aware of so you won't be surpirsed.

PORSCHE PANAMERA TURBO LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO SL600 E55 BRABUS*SOLD*
30k miles upper 30's max. these are great cars but with the new body coming prices are dropping like a rock. you can buy 07 cls 63's with less than 20k for miles for under 50k.

Mostly things that is probably due to cheap materials or poor manufacturing processes. I think the engineering side is pretty incredible; but the bean counters may have wreaked havoc on their end--just my guestimation.
Rear wheel crack (documented alloy problem) by 25K
Wood grain dash panel (large) developed two cracks by 25K
NAV went blue screen and died at 32K
Fuel tank seal failed and filled back seat with gasoline stain/vapor by 35K
Both front window regulators died by 40K (squeaking then locked up)
Engine oil leaking by 40K
As much as all this dissapoints, the rest of the car so impresses that I'm willing to live with it.
