I agree! The CLS63 is a blast on the tracks. I'm modded but no where near what you have done haha. I live about 30 minutes from a drag strip that I hit up! Maybe some new cls63 records will be broken this year.

Man great to hear you hit the track. I'm gonna try to make Famosa Friday night. I just lost two employees and car sales are up, so real busy at the dealership. I have not hit the 1/4 mile since my last mods. So no idea what the car can do.

Nice man, let me know how it goes tonight! Glad to hear your business is up and doing well! Pretty soon, every Wednesday they have drag nights that I will be attending. Cant wait for it, I just need to get my cls prepped for it lol.

When I saw 'track', I was hoping for some road course guys, but alas..... more straight line heros! ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
A few weeks ago I was instructing and my student had a CLS55, and it was extremely good through the corners. Not a Lotus Elise, but very, very good.
A few years ago i was taking an AMG Challenge course and I got to ride 'shotgun' with Tommy Kendall in an E55. He could make that car dance!
So, don't shortchange the CLS. It is actually very good, even when you turn the steering wheel!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Have fun and be safe...

I too had a chance to ride next to him last year at the AMG Challenge. I was lucky enough to take multiple rounds with him: one time in the SLS and two times in the C63 (which is his favorite AMG by the way)

I'm with you ingenere. I'm more of a road course guy myself. Taken my cls55 to buttonwillow and streets of willow a couple of times just for fun (while still rocking the 20" haha)
It's quite fun passing s200's, stis, and evos that don't know how to drive yet. Anyone that knows how to drive those cars are faster though. Tires get wasted quick too
