55/63 Rim fitment question...

The stock AMG 19's are 8.5" in the front with a 25mm offset, and 9.5" in the rear with a 28mm offset...

Would a set of 20x8.5" fronts with a 32mm offset, and 20x10" rears with a 35mm offset work on a 55/63 AMG application?

Anyone running that exact fitment or something similar?

I am pretty sure it will fit but I think it will be little tucked in.

Respond to your email.

Here is a link to pics of my Car with HRE wheels. My car is lowered with links.

Also, I am running Kumho Spt and so far so good except its too early to tell. You might want to try Hankook V12 tires. I heard lots of good things about Hankook V12 tires in various different forums.

Last but not least HRE's for $2500 is a steal. You are not going to find a better deal. I got mine from Phil at Vivid racing few weeks ago.

I have the CLS63 5 spoke 19" rims...the offset is 28mm on both the front and rear sets...

As said, fronts would seem to fit, but the rears will def need at least a 5mm spacer for clearance. Just my 2 cents. 8-)

if offset on ur CLS 19 inch is the same all around they r not OEM...AMG...cause i have them on my CLS for winters n front n rear offset is different...

n the rear will clear cause the front has the Bigger Brake kit so it will be closer...n will need spacer 100 % like i said before...but rear only needs a spacer to make it look more Aggresive on the car..

I'm sorry but you are mistaken.... the OEM CLS63 wheels are 28mm offset all around.

Can't speak for the 63's, and quite honestly I don't know why they would change it, but on the 55's, the offset is 25 in the front and 28 in the rear...

EDIT... just verified this

Hmmm...my rear rims say 28mm. Quite sure they are OEM, they came off one of the AMG Academy CLS63 cars in 2009

This is what is stamped inside one of the spokes.... 9.5Jx19H2 ET28. I'll get a pic up of my rim.

I apparently have 4 of the rear 9.5" rims turns out ! I should have checked before speaking so positively. The MB wheel catalog does say the CLS55/63 19" rims are staggered; 25mm front and 28mm rear....I was wrong, don't hate me. 8-)

Some body bought a well used 2009 CLS63 AMG Driving School car with 25mm offset 8.5" rims all around then...doh' !!

I have 2 non-AMG CLS rims also in 18" , they say 28mm...I assume they are fronts since they are 8.5" (?)
