i'm trying to decide on the color i wanna get my CLS and am having a hard time. at first I wanted white, but they are impossible to find for sale. I found one Black on black and another Silver on Black. Both have the same options, the black on has 60,000 km and the silver has 38,000 km. they are asking $43k for the silver and $38k for the black. I would be looking to lower the car a bit after I got it, and put some deep dish 20's on it. which one should I go with? I am **** about my cars and can take care of Black just fine... I just don't really want to wash it every two days... what do you guys think?

although white is difficult to find, i suggest you take some time to find a color you truly like without any doubts.

But I would agree with Alan, you MUST find one that you will be happy with or you will not enjoy your drive.

Out of the two I would go for the black. Hard to come by in Vancouver

I loved Auktane's silver cls55. Black is a pain as you know, but its easy to make it look good. White is my favorite and if it is your favorite then I would try to hold out a bit to find one. You will probably find a white one but it may have a tan interior, is that ok? I personally only like black interiors and that would be one of the determining factor for me. My choices would be white, silver, black, then pewter. The IWC edition has a cool color but i dont like the interior, I couldn't do the burgundy color at all.

i like the IWC edition, but those are impossible to find in Canada. White on Beige wouldn't be bad, but I would much rather have black. I find that Beige belogs in a luxury cruiser like an S class or a Bentley. In a CLS, a black sporty interior in much more appropriate.

also lets assume that neither car has a warranty, would you rather pay $5k more for a car with 30,000km less? or should i look into an aftermarket warranty?

I highly recommend a warranty on any high performance motor.
If you're getting one from an authorized dealer, make sure it is a CPO.

well I went to look at the black one. Right when I got there someone was putting a deposit down on it. They have until Monday to come up with the money... the car is in pretty good shape, EX-US vehicle and has a $8k accident on it. doesn't have distronic or the suede headliner... I really want one with the suede option. There are also a few scratches on the exterior and both bumpers could use a respray...

Don't settle for something you don't really want. Check out the silver one, it may have what you want and may be accident free.
