I know the title sounds dumb, but how do you turn the ac off in the cls55? Even when I press the ac button on the dash the air still blows ice cold 50% of the time. I love driving with all the windows down, and driving with the ac on only eats up gas and power...

 

when you turn it off from the ac button, its off but sometimes there is cold air/gas left over from the radiator so don't worry about it. just wait for it to clear. it wont use more gas

 

i was kind of figuring that. Sometimes it lasts 10-15 minutes, or goes from cold to warm back to cold. Kind of wierd...

 

Not trying to hijack the thread, but is there a way to turn off just the rear AC? My kids complain it's cold in the back seat, and haven't figured out how to turn it off completely back there. I have an 09 CLS63 is that matters.

i think you just close the vents on the rear or since we have trizone temp control, you could turn the temp up in the rear...

 

Exactly! Just turn the vent wheel to close off the air.
