CLS55 equipped w/ tire pressure sensors?

New wheels should be here tomorrow, just wanted to ask if the car has in-tire pressure sensors or if its calculated by rotation. Every other vehilce I have owned that had in-tire sensors had metal valve stems. The valves stems are soft rubber so I am assuming they do not have sensors in them.

Any help appreciated. Merry Christmas!

I'm pretty sure only the 030 option has them. I don't have that option and I don't have them. So if you don't have suede on your steering wheel you don't have them.

I don't have the 030 either, but there is a screen in my car that shows the exact pressure for each tire. The old "rolling" sensors could not do that.

The 55's and 500's have the rotation sensors, nothing in the tire. That changed on the 63's and 550's if I recall correctly to the in-wheel type.

Correct..^^

Car did not have in-wheel sensors. At this point I feel confident that if the car doesn't have rigid metal valve stems then it is a function of wheel rotation rather than a sending unit.

Thanks to all who had input.
