First time at the track..

Got a chance to get my 07 CLS 63 to the track tonight and had a great time! My first pass was my best time. The majority of my passes afterwards were not as good probably due to the fact that I forgot to turn off my traction control like I did on the first run. just wanted to get some thoughts on my times and suggestions on how to improve.

Car has an ECU tune only. Ran on 20' HRE's, mid 70's outside, oil temps about 90 degrees for first run. Shifted with paddles in sport mode and suspension was on sport 2 but it was lowered an additional inch with my ELM.

R/T .160
60' 2.073
330 5.532
1/8 8.355
1000 10.757
ET 12.784
MPH 111.28

Is this a decent run for a car with a tune and a drivers first time at the track? What can I do for next time? Thanks in advance!

better tires, ice tank, put the car in dyno mode, warm up tires. 12 second flat isn't unrealistic i don't think

Thanks..it'd be awesome to get in the low 12's. I may put my stock wheels on next time so I can heat the tires up without worry. I didn't do any burnouts last night.

Pretty sure he means a bag of ice to place on the intake manifold to cool it down.
