I have a 2007 CLS63 with 20" HRE 897's, and I'm ready to make a change. I'm looking for high quality 1 piece wheels. I want something strong, safe, reliable, and able to clear the big AMG brakes. No replicas, soft wheels, anything suspect, etc. Also, my car is lowered (not slammed) via Renntech lowering module.
Anybody out there really happy with what they have and can make a recommnendation?

I thought I just saw a thread on this forum about this set of refinished HREs that are two-pieces design.Originally Posted by hyperion667

Our HRE P40SC Series is very popular. They are also very lightweight. Please email me directly at LonM@hrewheels.com with any questions.

Honestly boss it looks like HRE is your best bet. We have done a few of the P4XSC and the look is amazing! PM for more info, etc.

What do you guys think of Modulare Wheels?
I was thinking about these and saw the White Bentley in person in this gallery and these look amazing too!! I also love HRE and have narrowed it down to the P40SC and the Modulare B18

PS: I am not sure if I am allowed to post a link like this but it is on topic so not sure. If I am not allowed to then I apologize and will remove.

I'm glad that you did. While I've enjoyed my HRE wheels, its hard to believe that nobody is recommending anything else other than DPE. I was hoping for feedback on more options to consider. While it's not urgent that I make the change, it is something that I wanted to do soon.
We would suggest either HRE or Modulare Forged...Both are superior to none.

The all-new C99S (15 spoke) might be a really cool option for 3pc.
