Moose VS Mercedes

Just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful posts. You guys took most of the mystery out of this complex machine. I saw a CLS for the first time a couple years ago and had to have one. I did the research and bought a 55 because of the easily modded engine and the tranny that will take it.
Last August I was driving at night and a moose ran in front of me. I was going around 60 mph and by the time I got my foot on the brake it came up solid at the roof line with a loud Whump! I think I would have gotten under a big one, but this one was only 800 lbs and lined up with the windshield perfectly . Everybody says I'm lucky because your supposed to die when you hit a moose, but I tend to think the car was specifically designed to take the hit. Killed the moose instantly but I wasn't hurt. In fact my comfort was never compromised, CD player didn't even skip a beat. I just put the hazards on and pulled of the road dialed 911. The insurance company totaled it and I bought another one.
This one is has the 030 and is nearly flawless, but I may have to sell it. It came with car freshener x-mas trees on the rear door lock, and I can't get the smell out of the door panel. Smells nice, but my wife is allergic.
