That intake system looks great, good job there. I can't wait to see more information on this build. Good luck with everything.

I am not a mechanic. What is the benefit or drawback of having htose turbos positioned where they are? can anyone explain? or is just a function of lack of room up in engine bay or simply easier to do overall like that?

Heres the rest of the exhaust being welded up. It'll meet the stock resonators near the back of the car. I'll be running the stock mufflers for now until I see the need to chop them off.

The turbos pretty much reside where the stock cats are. The turbos get a fresh flow of air over them as opposed to being crammed in the engine bay. Plus there would be no room in the engine bay as you stated.

This build is REALLY coming together. I was about to mention my concern about any possible wiring damage from the heat off of the turbine housings until someone reminded me that the turbos are in the location of the stock cats. This is a really brilliant build!!

That design/fabrication work is incredible. I'm speachless.
If your tuner can dial this all in, your going to be left with a 4-wheeled work of art.

I remember somne group in the states tried to do a twin turbo charged SLS with the turbos configured like that but never heard what happened to it. Photos of finished mechanical work but never saw or heard it run, maybe tuning was too hard. not sure. Congrats on your project, some beautiful fab work in that exhaust piping etc. What amount of incremental power gains are you looking for from this?

I'll gladly 2nd that the fabrication work on this project is first rate!! Beautiful work and impressive attention to detail. I'm really interested to see how this moves along now that it's almost time to start it up and begin tuning. What are you using to handle the tuning duties? I wasn't sure if this was something that could be done via flashing the stock ECU or if you went with an aftermarket EMS unit like a MoTek, Wolf 3D, Haltech, etc...

The build is complete and heres a video of the preliminary tuning session. Everything was done in house by www.powerhaus-performance.com and tuning is facilitated by EUROCHARGED Performance.
We should have final results by the end of the week.
