Damn you ... I should unsubscribe from this thread ... .. now I want this! Thanks for sharing the vid .. can't wait to see more! This thing is going to likely be super quiet too! The turbos are mufflers and you have stock exhaust … until the waste gate opens

You wont miss the stock supercharger after you go TT. It actually makes the car easier to launch. From a light you can punch it and it'll accelerate to 3k rpms and then the thing just rockets forward. It just pulls and pulls and pulls...

Did you ever run the Z3 before going turbo? Just trying to gauge the performance of this 'base' turbo setup vs the stock blower.

Very nice setup. I remember when I still had my cls people were always saying that twin turbo couldn't be done or it would be impossible to tune. Clearly that's not the case.

I've been testing different things with the car. I've been to the track a total of 3 times now after making small changes. The car isn't where I want to be yet but its making improvements every time I go out there. Track prep was non existent so when I tried leaving harder off the stall it would just tear the hoosiers apart in 1st gear. 60 ft times are also suffering from the lack of prep and from the cold temps. I'm going to try again when its warm out and they actually decide its worth prepping the track at Atco.

Car is full weight and 93 octane. I took it to the scales and without me in it, it weighed 4320 lbs. Substantially more than an e55.

I'm reviving this thread because I just purchased this car. Powerhaus has not serviced this car in two years and I'm not even sure the condition of the motor or turbos. I've been told there are mesh screens over the 3076 turbos (no filters).

My first goal is install Kleeman supersport cams (a few hp) and have Eurocharged in TX tune it for 91. Also need a section of the exhaust removable so cats can be installed/uninstalled. Seems not all cats are created equal (HJS Germany, Magnaflow, etc) so I am open for suggestions. If anyone has run e85, please let me know. On my Nissan, I had to run dual fuel pumps, make new fuel lines and install a custom Injector Dynamics fuel injection setup. Worried about how much power/torque the transmission can handle.

Finally, the motor on this build was left stock. So far I've been able to learn about Dalton sleeves used in an E55 build. Seems to be some controversy regarding the stock block, coatings and materials used for sleeve/piston. I would very much like to hear what pistons, rods, bearings & valves people are using. Hopefully ARP makes main, rod bolts & head studs.

Everything you need to know is on the E55 forum. If you can't find it just ask. Yes to the arp bolts, and the transmission can be rebuilt to handle 1000hp no problem.
