*For OE replacement, you can go with AutohausAZ,

http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro.../Brake%20Rotor

*for best performance with less fade & less weight, you can go with RB racing brakes, its one of the best choice,

Are the oem CLS63 rotors 1 or 2 piece? Anyone have thoughts on the Girodisc lightweight 2 piece rotors?

Finally installed my brand new rotors and pads....it was a piece of cake. You just need a tool to punch out the pins that hold the brake pads. Also before removing caliper make sure you suction out some Brake Fluid from the reservoir prior to using a screw driver to press the caliper back in with using the old brake pads as your cushion.

Once you use a screw driver to press back the caliper...the new rotors and pads fit with ease.

Total price...$1827...for parts.....you only need one brake pad sensor for the passenger side....I actually changed the caliper bolts...(4 21 mm bolts)...piece of mind...and torqued to 133 foot pounds or 180 nm.

Had to continually bang the rotor to eventually come off the hub lol....but you just have to put some wd-40 to loosen it up.

Hope this helps.

RacingBrake offers direct bolt on front and rear light weight two piece rotors for 07-11 CLS63 AMG's. Our rotors are compatible for both street and track use and can be used with your current brake pads. Although, we do recommend going with our brake pads for the perfect combination. With our ET500 street brake pads, you will have great bite with no squealing!

Weight

Front Two Piece Rotors
OE One-piece 36 lbs.
OE Two-piece 29 lbs.
RB Two-piece 24 lbs.

Rear Two Piece Rotors
One-piece 21.5 lbs.
Two-piece 15.5 lbs

Shaving a complete total of 36 lbs. of unsprung weight compared to OE's one piece rotors, improving your handling and steering response.

We also offer the option to purchase replacement rings for our two piece rotors, saving you a fraction of the cost when its time for a rotor replacement.
