Air in or air out???
Hey guys... I'm debating between a Renntech carbon intake or a SuperSprint cat back exhaust for my 09 CLS63. Only mods I have are a Eurocharged tune and just got new lightweight rotors all around (not installed yet).

Any thoughts between the 2 on money better spent?

I think you'll appreciate the exhaust more. The exhaust note on this car is amazing.

Do you mean the exhaust note in general, or with the SS cat back on it?

Got cha... Would a res delete and x pipe like you have give me the same results? Sure be a lot cheaper for me!

uhh depends on if you want it always louder or only really louder under full throttle. Its still pretty quiet inside the cabin even after the xpipe and resonator delete. THe resonator delete opened up the sound under WOT and the x pipe replacement smoothed the sound out. I think the real sound inhibitor is those giant mufflers. If you were to replace the whole exhaust I bet it would be generally louder overall.

Dont get me wrong, theres definitely a deeper and louder note from doing just the resonator and xpipe, especially when standing behind the car. You can hear the gurgling as it idles.

I think I would like it a tad louder then your system... Nice job beating that Camero! 12.1 and 118 is a great 1/4 mile!
